FIXED: Used bold font on active tab option doesn't work
Setting this option has no result on document tab font. ...Neither has font color nor gradient on document tab:

The preview works alright, but that's it

It works fine at my end, so something is different on your side...
Do you use the "Advanced tab color settings" feature?

I do, but that makes no difference for me in this regard.

I use customized theme. When I set "use bold" on Windows theme and then switch to mine, the bold is retained -- but so are active tabs colors
When I switch it off in Windows theme, switching it on in my theme has no effect. It seems like my theme uses Windows theme tabs settings.
Other themes seem to work just fine and I can tweak them independently.

When I edit [Theme_OneDark] section in my TextEd.ini, e.g. change "Author="
and restart editor, this new author (me) is overwritten with the value of "Author" field, but not from the same ini file, but from another source.

Re: Used bold font on active tab option doesn't work
The problems you get is because you're using the "Windows" theme. It's not really a theme (rather the absence of one) and it already exists in the theme menu.
So, if you switch to the theme "Windows" - you are able to change tab gradience and a bold active tab caption. Those settings are then used when you switch back to the OneDark theme.
It's been fixed in the next release...
