I use Filezilla and I have it set up to use RJTE as my editor, which has always worked.
I just tried to edit a file, and it made the editor come to the front of all of the windows,
but it didn't switch to the file buffer that I wanted to edit.
That is, the file was already open for editing.
Before, it would switch to the file-buffer in that case.
So I thought it was not working, because I didn't know that file was already open.
It just stayed on the buffer that it was on.
And it actually isn't working. It always worked before.
Actually, it's not opening not-currently-being-edited files to edit, either.
So something is messed up.

Re: External Edit Issue
I assume Filezilla simply run the program with the file path as an argument?
I use that all the time from Total Commander. I've tried both to open new files and to activate an already opened one. It seems to be working fine... Also, I don't think I've changed anything that should affect this behavior.

Re: External Edit Issue
The examples in Help show the filepath quoted.
Is that a requirement?
I don't think Filezilla quotes the parameter, it just appends the filepath.
I'm not sure exactly how that works, though.
Does Filezilla basically try to run RJTE again, but the editor knows it is already running,
so it just grabs the filepath as a parameter?

Re: External Edit Issue
I just quit the editor, then tried it, and it worked.
And it seems to be working now.
So maybe something was messed up (confused) somewhere.
