??? [12.00b3] Switching off preview switches it on

View > Panels > Preview; switching it off removes the tick on drop-down menu, but opens the panel. Same goes with other panels, e.g. Symbols, Messages, Search results...

I have no idea how to reproduce this. Do you mean some items in the View -> panels menu are checked at startup, but the panels are closed?

Yeah, basically. But it must have been a glitch in matrix, as now everything is fine, and panels I don't use have no ticks in View > Panels drop down menu.
