Re: What does Shift+Alt+Q hotkey do?

I don't know what it does -- I guess you have assigned this shortcut to some action (OpenInDefaultProgramAction?). Please go to Environment > Customize keyboard..., find Shift+Alt+Q and remove the action you have assigned to this shortcut. Nb. tool's own assign shortcut dialog should tell you what a...

FIXED: Terminal: executables are not always executed

1) When I write anything, that is not recognized as a name of an executable or batch script in the current directory , I get this message: Executable or batch file Command prompt is lost. 2) When I try to execute a real executable, but not in the current directory, I get the same response. Command p...

FIXED: Select color bug

When I place my caret on a color in a CSS file and click "Pick a color..." icon (or click this tiny CSS color tooltip), "Select Color" window appears. I can now choose another color, click OK and my original value is replaced with a new one -- with one exception, though. If there is color name in th...

FIXED: Two tiny glitches in document comparison

When comparing two documents: 1) If two strings are similar at their ends, but one (2) lacks some chars in the middle, that the other one has (1), e.g. // TODO error if $haystack (i.e. field) is not found // TODO error if $haystack is not found in the line comparison box at the bottom of editor area...

Re: Version 15.10 beta 3

I believe it is just a bad communication on my part. I have the same panels as you have, at the bottom of editor -- exactly as can be seen on your screenshot. I hoped it would be possible to press Ctrl+` and have Terminal panel restored and with focus -- just as it is when you click on "Terminal" ta...

Re: Version 15.10 beta 3

Thank you for this clarification -- it would be easier for me to use this terminology had there been tooltips showing up when I hover my mouse over icons in the top right corners of the panels (right now there are none). Also "minimize" IMHO would be a better term instead of "hide" -- please compare...

Re: Version 15.10 beta 3

I have tested new terminal and LSP templates and they work for me just fine -- the only gripe I have is about ToggleTerminalPanelAction. I have added Terminal panel to the bottom of main editor window, just like you did (I saw it in a screenshot you've published here recently) and added Ctrl+` short...

Re: Version 15.10 beta 2

Replying here, with one feature request and one bug (or maybe not a bug): * can we have Open Terminal window action, please? I'd suggest default shortcut Ctrl+` (backtick), as in VCS * upon restarting cmd.exe command history is not cleared (I know, this is debatable, but since we can easily paste co...

[15.10b1] Problems with the terminal

(I'm using "terminal" word here instead of "command prompt", because I can see other editors tend to use this term ; food for thought.) After monkeying with the terminal a bit, these are my gripes: 1) cls doesn't work; why? 2) exit not only doesn't work (IMO it should work like cls or, if you introd...

Re: Version 15.10

If someone is wondering (like I was) what terminal inside a text editor can be good for, here's one explanation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tlEkrWU0d1M Of course I don't expect that all these helpful features will land in 15.10

Re: rtl270, vcl260, vclx260, .BPL files

I was hoping someone might have an idea what the problem might be. This someone is Rickard ;) You may want to check and post him a log file as per https://www.rj-texted.se/Forum/viewtopic.php?t=5071&p=17858 From top of my head: perhaps running registry cleaner would help? Since clearly those files ...

Re: rtl270, vcl260, vclx260, .BPL files

OK, so I have downloaded and installed the latest portable version (15.03) on Win7, x64 and run "Run - TextEd (Win64).bat". No missing files complaints, Syntax Editor starts just fine. BPL files in question still not on the disk. Perhaps you could try re-installing the newest version and see if it h...

Re: rtl270, vcl260, vclx260, .BPL files

I don't have these files either and Syntax Editor opens without any complaining (but I don't use portable version). Did you try opening it directly from Windows Explorer/file manager, and not from within RJ TE?

FIXED: Deleted file not removed from a project

When I delete a file (RMC on doc tab > File operations > Delete from Disk), that belongs to a project, I get a message letting me now that the file will be deleted and asking if I want to close the document. I click on "yes" and get Windows confirmation (move to trash bin). Fine, the file is deleted...
