RJ TextEd

File Explorer panel crashes when a filter is active and then the path is changed.
It is not a new error. It already occurred a few versions ago.

Tried with a few different filters, but couldn't reproduce a crash?

A screenshot of said crash may be helpful...

Also, which program and Windows version are you using.

Unfortunately, I cannot create a screenshot of the crash in question. The program is terminated without any messages.
I use Windows 11 64bit version 23H2 and RJTextEd 16.25 beta 1.
I was able to narrow down the cause. When I run RJTextEd as administrator, everything works perfectly.
Perhaps the extract from the event log will help. See Attachments

You can download a special version here https://www.rj-texted.se/downloads/RJTextEd.7z.
Unpack and copy the files to the RJ TextEd program folder - and run.

The file contain an exception catcher that may be able to catch the exception and let you send an error report.
