I am trying to increase the space between the text lines. I have adjusted the setting in OPTIONS >> FONTS AND TABS >> SPACE BETWEEN LINES from 0 to 3.
I applied the settings and closed the options dialog but saw no change. I closed the file and created a new one,
still no increase in line spacing.
I restarted the app and created a new file, no change.
I am currently running:
Win X64, Portable v16.16
If anyone has time to share a few tips to get to the bottom of this I would appreciate it.

You have used correct settings and the change should apply automatically after hitting on Apply (and then OK to close the modal). Changes are subtle, try setting it to e.g. 8 (10 is max).

Have you by chance seen any performance difference between the portable and the installed version of the RJ TE? I am wondering if these issues I have recently come across are related to only the portable app version.

I only use an installed version, so no.
