I did when ribbons were new. They just take up to much space. And, it seems, the current trend is to have as little UI elements visible as possible...

I often think about RJTextEd having a ribbon UI, then I think about sticking pins in my eyes and realise the latter would be preferable.

Those things are a complete waste of space...
