RJ TextEd

Hello,
I am having problems to connect to ftp on some sites that I usually connect to with RJ TextEd.
It is not dependent on the url or the hosting, and I have 2 of 8 sites connecting trouble free.
When trying to connect, the program gets stuck and is not responding after "Port Command Successful".
I tried to uninstall and reinstall the software but it did not help.
Could you please help me solve this?

Try setting the option "Use passive connection", if you haven't already.

I've added a read timeout in the next release (v15.23). The program usually hang if it can't read the directory list.
The timeout is set to 10 seconds. If the program can't read the directory in that time - it will simple display an error message and close the connection.

That should help a little...
