The problem with the tempfiles in the recyle-folder seems to be gone

But, have you changed the autosave-function or has autosave overwrite the orignal-file in earlier versions ?
If it's always been like this, maybe it's better to autosave in the temp-folder, until the file/editor is closed !?

No I haven't changed the auto save function. It's supposed to save (overwrite the original file). If you want to auto save the file to another location - you should use backup.
