I have no idea whether this is beta related or not, but I'm seeing it in 10.9b2 using the "Search Bar".

• Set the mode to "highlight all items found"
• Search for a string that has multiple matches using "Find All" button
• Notice that all matches are highlighted (in orange in my case) - presumably using the app-wide Search | Highlight Colors | Find Results color.
• Press "Find Next" on the search bar.
• Notice that all matches are now highlighted (in blue in my case) - presumably using the theme "search highlight color" color.
• Now, press the "Find All" button again.
• Notice that the colors don't change back to Orange, but instead remain blue
• Click in the editor area now and notice that all highlights disappear - which shouldn't happen after clicking "Find All".

It's as if the "Find All" function doesn't work properly if done immediately after a "Find Next". If the "Find All" is the first thing that's done after clicking in the editor window, it works correctly (colors are correct, and the matches remain visible when clicking in the editor). Otherwise, the matches seem to stay in "Find Next" mode.

If that doesn't make sense, I can provide a small screen cast.
