FIXED? 15.0.3 DPI scaling does not appear to be working for toolbars

Post by HSeldon »

If I understand correctly, the toolbar images should look the same at 2160p, 200% as they do at 1080p, 100%
Instead, at 2160p, 200% it looks like 1080p, 50%.

It seems to work properly at my end on my 4K monitor. I even tried scaling at 250%.

Maybe this is related to the installation issue you had and it's already fixed?

Sadly, no. No matter what size I choose, small, normal, large, the only thing that changes is the size of the button itself, not the image.
The image appears to be 32x32 unscaled.
Thanks for looking at this. I will just get used to smaller size until I figure this out.

I believe the toolbar images are being scaled.
I can change the scaling and see them resize accordingly.
However, selecting between small, normal, or large in settings has no effect.
It seems as though scaling is only being applied to 16x16 size.
So, if I scale 200%, the images appear to be 32x32, whether I choose small, normal, or large.
And at 300%, they appear to be 48x48.
This is the first time I have had to use scaling. Maybe I am misunderstanding how it works?

Edit: I just tried copying 32x32 list to 16x16 list with no visible change.
