FIXED: Error message double-clicking associated file v12.90b1

Post by crtrubshaw »

Hi Rickard, I get this error message when I double-click to open an associated file, the file opens fine if I right-click and click "RJ TextEd".

Are you using the install version?
Are you sure the association is pointing to the correct "RJ TextEd\TextEd.exe" file?

Same here !
Update install-version from V12.80 x64 to V12.90b1 x64 on Windows7 x64.

Error only occurs, when the working-dir isn't the RJ-install-dir !

Hi again, yes I am using the install version (as opposed to portable). The association is pointing to the right TextEd.exe, I recreated the association and browsed for the TextEd.exe (C:\Program Files\RJ TextEd\TextEd.exe), I'm running 64-bit, no other versions installed. Windows 7 Professional.

I had a quick look with ProcMon and could see a few entries which might be linked, they appear to be using the path of the file I am trying to open, which is on a network.

Many thanks Rickard, is there any chance you can publish the fixed version? :)
