Editing of Text Clips Commands

Post by sp1key »

I would like to know if there is a way the user to edit (or create a new) a text clip command.

For example if someone wants to get the path and the name of a file must use the @fi command. I am asking if is possible for me to edit this command (or create a new) so it will return only the filename as variable - without the full path.

I've added the following in v14.71.

New text clip commands
Added commands to extract file name, file directory and file extension from a variable inside a text clip.

It is possible to use one of the following commands with a variable containing a file path:

Code: Select all

#d	=	folder path (dir)
#f	=	file name (without path)
#e	=	file extension

Code: Select all

  E.g.

    If we have a file variable defined like

    [[file]]	=	@fi[]

    Then, we can create a text clip like below:

    The file "#f[[file]]" is located in the "#d[[file]]" folder.
