QUESTION: Long line wrapping in text file

I am editing a text file that has some very long lines that extend beyond the editor window width.

For some reason RJTextEd is wrapping the lines but I have switched off any line wrapping so it should not be happening. The scrollbar also disappears for this file but it is restored for other files I am editing at the same time.

It only happens for this particular file. Any thoughts?
