Re: DONE: Customize Icon positions on Toolbars

It is very good. For better or worse I have become used to the VB6 IDE as my standard, for toolbar icon placement. When I use another IDE with loads of icons in differing orders it is like peering into the dark looking for an owl. Knowing approximately where the icon is on the toolbar is a big help....

Re: RJTe REQUEST: Refresh search results when files change

Understood. I was using RJTe as a sort of advanced TAIL command. When the file changes I was hoping that the program's newfound knowledge that the file's contents had changed might kick off a search automatically. However, I do get your point that seems a little too much considering the file's conte...

FIXED: MPad Bug: Document changed by external program not functioning

Currently the option "Warn if document changed by external program" does not seem to be functioning. It does not work in the new version, nor the previous. I have it enabled this option, restarted MPad and I am regularly modifying the file externally and MPad ignores this completely. Sugge...

DONE: Customize Icon positions on Toolbars

I have to state that I don't know whether this can be done already but I have tried and found no current method. There may well be a text json file that we can edit but I haven't delved that deep yet. For the standard user it would be most useful to have the capability of ordering the icons in the t...

RJTe REQUEST: Allow Toolbars to be on the same line

A request for the future: Not essential at the moment but useful in the future. At the moment I cannot see a way to have two toolbars on the same line. I have plenty of horizontal room on my main laptop but not a huge amount of vertical space. Having the toolbars stacked one below the other is a was...

DONE: Refresh search results when files change

I have two log files loaded into RJTe. I am looking for a string in either of the logs, a search for a specific string shows them in the bottom panel. The logs are a result of a run of my application and they will be refreshed with new contents when the application is run. When RJTe receives focus R...

CLOSED - RJTe QUESTION: Remove Editor/edge Preview?

Rickard, is it possible to remove the Editor and edge Preview tabs that sit between search results and the main editor window above? I need more screen space for the important stuff, ie. editing and searching. I use a small screen laptop and all space is in high demand. I have no need for the Edge P...

Re: DONE: Shift+F2 to find a function or subroutine automatically

Just some feedback on that feature you recently added. If the highlighted function is within the current script then it will find it and populate the search box automatically - good. However, if that function is available to the program but NOT in the current file it cannot find it. What would be ni...

Re: DONE: Shift+F2 to find a function or subroutine automatically

If I highlight a javascript function name in RJTextEd and do a CTRL+G to do a Goto Function, then it would be very nice indeed if the search field was automatically filled with the highlighted string. The picture below might indicate better what I would love to see as an option. https://i.imgur.com/...

Re: Title Bar - please don't ever remove it.

It is useful and once you get used to it, it becomes second nature to click there, especially when the x button top right changes shape and size according to the flavour of Windows you are running. It is also a convenient close method when the right hand of the window is off screen. It is very diffi...

Mpad/RJTe Suggestion: Title Bar - please don't ever remove it.

I have been using github desktop, chrome and visual studio code as well as datagrip. All reasonable tools at times but the new style that seems to have arrived in windows 11 makes navigating the o/s rather more difficult than it used to be. One of the things that really annoys me is the absence of t...
