So version 14.64 and this still doesn't work for me. I just stopped with these latest updates.
I see there are some small issues posted in bugs. Maybe related?

This is still occurring in V14.63 it happens when I have the program open and another piece of software automatically opens a different file. In the past it just place the newly opened file in the already opened RJTexed program. Now it just opens a new instance. Once that instance is open the softwa...

FIXED: Insert Text on each line skipping last line
In version 14.20 When you select multiple lines and select Edit>More line operations>Insert text on all selected lines it skips the last line selected. In column or normal mode.
