Syntax files

To handle or download highlighters (syntax file), please use the "Add-ons" dialog.

Download syntax files

Use this pane to update or download highlighters (syntax files) from the home site.

Create new syntax file

Use the syntax editor to create new syntax files. Please read the help file for more information on how to create one.

All syntax files should be place in:

Install version
C:\Documents and Settings\(User)\Application Data\RJ TextEd\Syntax (Windows XP)
C:\Users\(User)\AppData\Roaming\RJ TextEd\Syntax (Windows Vista) Portable version
<Progdir>\RJ TextEd\Syntax

UltraEdit -> RJ TextEd Converter (by Wolfgang Stumvoll)

It is possible to convert an UltraEdit wordfile to a RJ TextEd syntax file. This is done in the syntax editor using Wolfgang's tool. You should not try to use this tool to convert a file manually. Use the syntax editor.
